The team behind CyberVerse has shared a major development update, revealing substantial progress toward the game’s upcoming Survival-focused overhaul. At a time when many indie and Web3 gaming projects have slowed down or disappeared entirely, CyberVerse continues to push forward with active development despite limited resources and funding challenges.
Following the previous apartment pre-sale earlier this year, the developers confirmed they have spent the past several months rebuilding core systems and expanding the game’s direction toward survival gameplay, multiplayer combat, progression systems, and new world content.
From my perspective, this is one of the biggest technical updates the project has shared so far, and it gives a much clearer picture of where CyberVerse is heading next.

According to the developers, a large number of systems and features have already been completed for the upcoming update.

Funding Efforts and What’s Next
The team confirmed that they met with a representative from Ronin in early October regarding the Ronin Forge grant program and are currently awaiting a response.
Regardless of the outcome, development on CyberVerse is continuing, with the team preparing another Apartment Pre-Sale aimed at helping fund additional content and accelerate progress toward the upcoming relaunch phase.

According to the developers, apartments are expected to play an important role in the upcoming Survival update and future Guild systems, giving them additional in-game utility beyond customization.
Players who purchase at least one apartment will also receive access to a private early test planned for December, allowing supporters to experience the updated version ahead of the broader release.
The team additionally confirmed that the original 73 Apartment NFT holders from the earlier June sale will receive snapshot-based rewards and exclusive gifts.

The team noted that continued community support could influence how quickly some of these systems are completed and released.
Community Feedback Remains Important
The developers encouraged players to continue sharing feedback as development progresses. According to the team, the updated version of CyberVerse is being built around four primary pillars: Fun, Economy, Monetization, and Onboarding.
With survival systems, combat mechanics, multiplayer testing, and progression features already underway, CyberVerse appears to be evolving into a much more ambitious MMORPG experience than its earlier versions.
A Small Indie Team Still Building
One thing that stands out to me personally is the consistency of development updates coming from such a small team. While many Web3 gaming projects have struggled to maintain momentum this year, CyberVerse has continued showing steady progress and regular communication with its community.
There’s still a long road ahead before the game reaches a more complete state, but the scale of the systems currently being worked on suggests the developers are aiming for a much larger MMORPG experience than what players have seen previously.
